tell him. not him and his friends, him. make sure you're alone with him and let him know that you're kinda shy about this topic. trust me it will play in your favor. also that way if he completely lets you know that he just does not like you you won't be embarrassed.

first of all take a deep breath.... i have been through this situation many more times than once. try to just talk to him in person without anyone around. writing a note is what i USED to think was the greatest idea but then there are times it may slip into the wrong hands and end up on the morning announcements at school. >_< .... usually if they like you back they won't go around bragging to his friends. if he doesn't just tell him to act like it never happened. good luck!

You know him right? Because I don't see how you could like a guy (not just think he's hott) without knowing him as an aquantaince or as a friend. So if he's friends with you, he's not going to mess that up by embabrassing you, because he values you. So, if you aren't friends with him, develop a relationship with him.
And don't just walk up to him and say. "I like you! Will you go out with me?!?!? Please!!!!" or anything like that. Flirt with him when you're with him. Compliment him. Drop subtle hints. So when the right time rolls around, it won't be like *gulp*.

do it over im or the phone make sure nobody else is around. just be like im going to be honest with you heart i dont want this to get out to everbody okay?
he'll say alright
and then you'll be like well ive sorta been crushing on you idk if you feel that way but thats how i feel about you.i mean i hope we can just keep this between me and you.
&&he'll either be like okay i like you you too lets get to know each other better then see what happens
OR
he'll be like i dont really feel the same way you do.
the worst possiblity is that he'll say is no
but keep ur hopes up there ton of em out there&&theres one for you.

I HAVE THE SAME PROBLEM W/GIRLS. I ASK THEM OUT THEN THE HOLE SCHOOL NOS IT AND SOMEPEOPLE SAY COOL WHILE OTHERS SAY YOUR SICK OR SUMTHIN.BUT I JUST TOLD HER TO KEEP IT ON THE DOWN LOW. WE WERE DATING FOR 1 MONTH AND PEOPLE STILL NEVER NEW (ONLY SOME CLOSE FRIENDS OF OURS NEW) BUT IT WAS SORT OF SUPISHIS FOR PEOPLE,SO YOU'LL HAVE TO TELL THEM SONER OR LATER BUT NOT THE DAY OR WEEK.
