It is not about the "cure" it is about the "treatment". There is way too much profit to be made by "treating" these things. Just thin what would happen to the drug companies if you could take a pill and be immune to cancer or hiv. Where would their profits go??
Cancer and HIV treatment are the most expensive treatments around. The drug companies rake in billions a year from this. If they "cured" them they would be out of a proffession.

I don't think we will ever see a cure anytime. Back in the day when people developed cures for things like tb, chicken pox, mesales, rubella, plague, they did it because they had morals, and it was the right thing to do. Now these people want $$$$$$$$$$$$ and the only way to get that is to keep the sick "treated" and alive long enough to suck all the money they can out of them.

There are cures honey! There are lots of all natural cures, and drug cures! But that's the problem, they won't let the natural cures out, because they say that nothing that isnt a drug can be a cure! And the drug cures that they have, they won't release, because for one, they dont care if people die, it's all about the money, and so that leads to the fact being that, they wont release the drug cure because then they would loose money on all the other drugs like antibiotics and stuff that people buy who have cancer and aids! Read the book "natural cure THEY dont want you to know about" by kevin treadou! You will learn a lot about this!

All right don't be stupid!
these two sciences are not even close to being related. HIV, and Aids weren't even known to be sexually transmissible until the late 1970's.
And the space program was instituted in the 40's just after WWII.
A cure is being researched, and the technology for the research is ruining along at the same rate that the space program did when it was as young.
If you have either then i am sorry for you as a person who was molested as a child, and then was bisexual for a long time I have been worried in the past, that my grandfather had given me HIV.( yes i said my grandfather).
Now i am a happily married person and we have 5 kids, my wife knows my past and we are ready to face the future.

This is a good question. For HIV, i know most people in africa are infected. So what do the big powers care? After all, they are all monkeys! Let them die they are too plenty. At least some form of cancer can be cured. But you get hiv, you are done, dead, and no one gives a ****, forgetting it could happen to you!

This is a very good question .... The sad thing is that progress in the medical field is far beyond technology ... One reason may be that there is no enough money to undergo necessary research , or it might be that the big corporate don't want that to happen

Because space travel and biological research are unrelated.
