There are shampoos which are made to remove stains and whiten white coats on horses and dogs.... bathe every day if necessary. I haven't bathed a horse for a while now, but I got stuck with the white horse in a contest on who could groom/fix them up the best, on the horse ranch, where I worked.... and guess who won!
You bet I did!
; )
Hard work will pay off.... keep it up!

what i used to do on the white that my horses had was use (now this was for getting their socks whiter) baby powder on the white area rub it in and it would make them look whiter...i have even used a mild laundry det. deluting it in a bucket of warm water and soaking the talis or manes in it it seemed to help alot...and there is a product or shampoo that worked as well and it was called superpoo horse shampoo it did really good on the white areas of the horse...you just have try everything until you like what you see and stick with that...hoped this helped

you can buy this shampoo that brightens whites it is made by exhibitor labs. It is usually purple and you just leave it on for a couple of minutes then rinse off, just be careful to make sure you rinse it all off or else they will stay purple. Also after the bath (when they are dry) you can use baby powder on the legs and it will help it to look white.

AJ is correct. lemon jucie takes stains out of horses white coats. the dumb people that said bleach spray paint and crest whiten strips are just spammers. dont worry bout those losers. any ways, for the person that said "you cant horses are gonna get dirty" well, you can get a horse whiter. someone said whitening shampoo, cowboy magic. etc. go to www.statelinetack.com

quiksilver - it's a purple shampoo for horses that works pretty well. Just don't let it sit too long or it will turn the hair purple. A cheap alternative is Ms. White's blueing. You mix some with regular shampoo and it works pretty well too.

any tack store will sell a special shampoo and conditioner that brings out the white in you'r horse it's called "quik silver". if you cant find this there should be other brands that are specificaly ment for white horses the shampoo itself should be a blue color (blue or purple- anything with blue in it) because for some reason blue helps bring out white.

There was this stuff called "blueing" in the laundry detergent section. It's blue but people would use it on white fabric to make them whiter or you could use a blue hair that old gray haired women us to make they hair whiter.

quicksilver is absolutely the best product on the market. I used it all the time showing halter appaloosa's. It will make the white "pop" and it wont hurt the horse either.

horses will always be dirty. you cant change that. once you give them a bath, they roll in the dust. bathing to get them "white" is a lost cause.
