The picture (if viewed on a website) may no longer exist, but the link on the website may still point to it. So the page cant display what it cannot find.

If others can see it and you cannot (again, if viewed on a website) it could be blocked via a proxy server. Example, if you can see it when veiwing from home, but not at work. Also just because your on www.safewebsite.com doesnt mean that the picture resides on that website (mostly true for forums.) It could be hosted on another website that your employer's proxy doesnt allow.

Or, you may need a specific program to view specific files.

you need to verify that the adress of the image is unquestionably written, and that the format of the image is the terrific suited one (.gif). attempt employing the internet adress of the image, or verify the folder call wherein the image is stored. it may in basic terms be that.
