I don't lable myself cause i'm not a soup can but other people do,they call me EmO. I see people saying that emo kids are "gross" and"weird" but so what If they want to scrape their rists with razors to eliminate emotional pain and replace it with physical pain because then you can just take pain killers and everything goes away thats their problem and all they can do w/ emotional pain is cry that doesn't help any thing so leave them alone. I'm not emo and I don't cut my rists I'm just standing up for my friends.

Because most people feel that Emo kids are acting like it for attention & because it's trendy & that irritates people. Everyone has problems & feels depressed at times, but Emo kids try to shove it down everyone's throats & make a statement by being so meloncholy, and it's irritating.

I think I can answer this. I tend to be the type to sit back and listen, and from what I gather, people look for reasons to put others down to make themselves feel/look better. Maybe not all people who are labeled as "Emo", but some are known to. It's not that, that makes people talk. It's the fact that there have been some who like to cut there wrist, cry, ect... and they get off on flonting it. You may like the style.. ("emo clothes") and I know that doesn't make you emo or anything.. just pay no mind to what others say.. maybe they just don't know who they are, and instead of risking getting labeled.. they label you.

I don't know, but that drives me nuts! If people wanna be Emo, I say they have every right to be themselfs. I think the only people that people should make fun of are the people who aren't themselfs and don't have any real feelings. At least Emo can state their opinions on things and can feel pain and (for some) happiness, while other people just agree with whatever their so-called friends say.

OK what is a EmO? My sister cut herself and she needs help if they do . they need help too that is no way out i don't see anything bad about them all i see is they need help they have something that had happen to them in there life (bad) so it good that you are standing up for your friends but they do need the help

I have this theory we make drama and problems and make fun of other people because we are bored; they latch on to Emo the way it used to be Goth, and before that Metalheads, and before that ..... it's a never ending cycle, pick on the little weird kid, and our pride is bigger.
