I'm not sure where to stand with their problem. He is 18 & she is 17. She is a foster child and has basically a terrible life and is not the best person in the world. The state of Florida is now saying that the father can not & never have anything to do with the baby. My boyfriend & his family are trying to support them. I dont want to support them because I think it is completely wrong, I dont know where to stand. =/

You don't have to agree with someone to be supportive. All it requires is that you don't make their journey more difficult. It is a misnomer to think we have to like a person, agree with them or respect their decisions in order to provide basic human kindness. As a pregnant teen and foster child she will face many uphill battles. A little compassion would go a long way to make the journey a little less difficult to walk.

Why are the state of Florida saying that he can't see his kid if he wants to? Is it because she is underage? That's stupid.

Why do you think it's so wrong? They're together and being responsible aren't they? If you really disapprove that much I'd just keep your mouth shut - your boyfriend will probably ditch you if he sees that you are being so judgemental about his best mate when he's having such a tough time of it.

It's not really your place to support them or not. If you think it's wrong then that's fine for you but it does kind of make you heartless. Think how they feel.

By saying it's wrong, that tells you where you stand on it. Stay out of it, for your own sake!
