I still remember watching the first night of Threes Company. I watched all by myself and thought, this is so different. He made that show. He never got the credit he so deserved for his comic timing and that the camera just loved him. I think because he was an honest person who loved people. He played some very good serious roles too. He is missed. Thank you for remembering him. Sometimes we need to feel better about being a part of the human population and he let us do that.

I miss John Ritter and I miss 8 Simple Rules. I had watched him my whole life, even in reruns and old 80s movies, but I was enjoying him returning to the small screen as a dad. :(

Oh I just miss him so much! Did you see the 3's Company marathon last weekend? I also saw him on Bad Santa and i had forgotten he was in that! He was such a genius!
I think he was probably the first crush i had when i was a little girl (It may have been a tie between him & John Boy, Richard Thomas -wink!) even before he was on 3's Company!!!
He was so awesome in everything he did -even when he played a wife-beating drunk one time and another movie opposite Henry Winkler where he was this crazy stalker!
He was simply wonderful!!!

I loved John Ritter!! I wanted to marry him (Jack Tripper) when I was young. I have a collage of his photos over the years on my desk at work. All my memories are the best...he was so damn funny and hot on "Threes Company"

How approximately his snicker, did no longer he have a terrifficly infectuous snicker? What an incredible voice. He died of a coronary heart attack that he suffered in a Nashville detention center on a similar time as paying the bail on a band member. His spouse Dorothy replaced right into a Grand Ole Opry greeter at one time. i haven't ever heard a foul be conscious mentioned approximately Tex.

started watching "8 simple rules" but when he died, my daughter didnt like the other characters and quit watching,
we think he made that show actually work, he was funny and his relationship to both girls worked for the show. and with the old james gardner as the grandfather and the other guy as the uncle dont make it as funny.
John Ritter's humor was way better.
