big blessing for the nets. Williams is a great player and will play well behind Kidd and will get taught a lot by Kidd and will fill the pg spot when kidd leaves or retires.

Sure it's a blessing. The Nets had nothing to lose with such late picks and Jeff McInnis is leaving so they'll need a backup point guard. Also, Kidd is well into his 30s so landing Marcus Williams gives them a point guard that can be groomed behind Kidd while he's still able to teach the kid a thing or two. Worst case scenerio? Williams busts or his attitude doesn't make them want to keep him. In which case, so what? It was a 22nd pick. This is a great situation for the Nets to be in.

Kidd has a few years left and Marcus can learn a lot behind him. Good for both sides. Hope Marcus can shoot better than Kidd.

Yes, learning from kidd is a lot better than learning from marbury if he wanted to be a pure PG

If you say so but on that team i don't know how much he will actually have an impact, unless jason kidd gets injured or something radical happens.

Good luck!!!
