The diversity. No matter how you looked it was acceptable.. it was even encouraged to be unique with your personal style.. then the 90's came along and that all changed....

I was raising my daughter in the 80's. I barely remember anything existed except midnight (2 a.m. and 4 a.m.) feedings, potty training, finding a good day care, school, homework, little girl angst, buying her clothes, and working full time.
Did anything else happen in that decade?

Nothing. I hated that decade. The music sucked, the fashion styles sucked. The politics sucked. It was an awful decade all around!
