No.

If you have the right personality and product you can sell anything. Just accept that a large percentage of your time will be spent accepting no thank you responses or worse.

If you keep failing you either don't have the right product, personality or both.

IT cold calling sounds like a bad habit, most companies have someone in-house who'll take care of it, or will hire a person recommended to them to do it.

Unless you have a new product, the market is just too small and wrong for cald calling.

Problem is: short vision USA, 2 coasts are worst. Middle America, just better people to deal with.

You CANNOT CATCH UP with enough people in today's world, cold calling, people are too mobile, you'll burn in a year.

Borrow some money and start your own business if you are young, direct your efforts selfishly, be aware of time wasted.

My business is in a down cycle, but I could get a young guy going up toward $200,000 a year with a few sales because I give up all the money to get a salesman/partner started and the guys with the expertise take little or nothing because we know what we need to do, know we are getting old fast, but we still know what we know !

"Why work hard for a company" I heard a stock broker say, "they will fire you anyway."

Take the advice even if not interested in working with us.

I have a young doctor friend, grew up in NYC, moved to Dayton, Ohio, now makes $800,000 to $950,000 per year, Dayton is a nice town, very happy.
