Don't tell them. To them, the baby is beautiful even if it is ugly. Just congratulate them on the baby and say which parent it resembles the most ;)

Bottom line is - you cant - you can only think it to yourself - all babies are beautiful to their parents & I admit most newborn babies do seem a bit strange looking when they are born but time changes everything and babies go through stages of being cute & not so cute - but as their personality develops you find others things that make them attractive and cute - a beautiful baby does not guarantee a beautiful adult - wait till you have kids and you will understand.

Don't do that. No matter how ugly the baby they are a human just like everyone else. And they have parents that love them. Most babies are ugly the first 6 months.

Why would u unless you were just a hateful old b**ch or b***rd? You can always say things like "they're so unique" or what beautiful hands, etc. How would you like someone come up to you and say, what a ugly f**king you know what you are (and trust me, with that attitude most will think you are). Little uncomfortable I bet you'd be. Put yourself in others shoes.

Yes, there are some ugly babies out there, but unless you want to be gutted on the spot by an outraged Mama you simply say "How sweet!" and leave it at that. I assume you'd like to keep your innards inside your body? Good.

Although some babies are cuter than others, the others should grow out of it. Just remember that this baby belongs to someone and they think the baby is beautiful.

Who made you judge? Are we so body crazy that we judge a baby right out of the womb? How old are you honey, 10? Say nice things like you like the way he coos or smiles or looks like a boxer. Let the kid grow up. I hope he's georgeous.
