I bought an item on ebay and the seller is saying that they
haven't recieved my payment. It could have been lost in the mail
or they could just be lying to me and are planning to keep my money and not send the item. But if it was lost ,is there anything
I can do about it?

Good Question. You should contact the company that gave you the money order. See if they can tell you if it has been cashed.

The post office can be slow. It might still be in route.

In the future, always sent money orders by certified mail or priority mail with signature confirmation.

i once had a lawyer say that I didnt pay him. I knew I did because I saved the money order stub. there is a customer sevice phone number on it. you can call it and see if it has been cashed. they also can trace it and see who cashed it. the person on ebay may be lying. If it has been lost, there is nothing you can do. but do ask if you do call the number on the stub. good luck.
