Because its easier than thinking for themselves and getting laughed at for doing something someone else might think is silly. That's why I always admired the Odd kids in school, at least they had balls enough to be themselves.

Actually, while some are, most societies with strong white backgrounds are *less* prone to a group mentality owing to the strong individualist emphasis in their cultures. Most other societies, especially those in Asia, emphasize the importance of the group as a whole more than the individual, which leads children to a tendency to associate themselves in terms of the groups they are in.

Actually, it isn't just white people. All people are prone to it to one degree or another. I personally chose to try the "herd mentality" theory while overseas on a large group from all walks of life, and they all followed. Honestly, it can come down to simply who has the greatest force of personality, personal magnetism, whatever you wish to call it. And it holds true for the whole of humanity. And yes, I do have witnesses to this.

Most all of mankind is capable of behaving in a way that shows "group mentality".It's not limited to white people.
Take the riots after the Rodney King incident.
Take prison riots...usually brought about by prisoners of all colors and backgrounds!
Take people at sporting events and some concerts.

They aren't. But if they were, there would be no Mestizo invasion from Mexico, no Jew bankers and corporate heads and no " Black " anything. Minorities owe their current social elevation to divisions within the White race.
