It's so sad that some people are so insecure in their own lifes and beliefs that they must put down others.
Chalk this one up to it being their problem. Religions are based on faith, not fact. There is no evidence that there even is a God that will punish you for being the imperfect being that HE created (and ALL humans are imperfect including your religious zealot family members). Jesus loved everybody and God forgives anyone that asks. Your friends should not be playing God by making judgements that only "HE" is supposed to.
Live your life, be a good person and I don't think you have a thing to worry about.
Living your life fearing a hell that may or may not exist is foolish.
It's their problem.

do you really believe in heaven and hell? ok... lets say you do. the bible says that god is an all loving god. if that is TRUE than he would accept you as you are. AND, please realize that the bible ALSO says, "let no man judge another, that is the work of god"... so, they are going against "god's" will if they are judgeing you... sooooo... how is the "sin" they are accusing you of different from the "sin" they are commiting? you will probably have to get use to the fact, however, that some shallow people are going to be disapproving. some will look at you with disgust, some will tell you. HOLD YOUR HEAD UP HIGH, and get comfortable with who you are... that's really all you can do. if you don't let them get to you they MAY get tired of getting no reaction! i do wish you the best of luck... i understand it may be extremely challanging to deal with your families disapproval. i hope that if one of my children ever wants to tell me that they have a same gender attraction that i can be supportive. afterall, i am an all loving mom!

The religious ones are also going to hell too,lol. We all sin and as long as we ask for forgiveness, God accepts us. You will not go to hell sweety. You should be who you are regardless of what others say. Take care

i am a christian and do not believe in being a lesbian, however some of my good friends are lesbians. next time they say something like that to you just say this to them, " God also said "love thy neighbors as thy loves themselves." in other words, they are being hypocritical and in God's eyes hes going to jude them just as he will jude you. it is not there, nor my place to jude you or anyone else. I don't pass judgment on anyone and as long as they don't do any harm to others they have the right to make there own decisions.
ok hun, hear are a few questions for you, do you believe in god? do you believe that god loves you? do you believe that God died on the cross for your sins? Are you saved? if you answered yes to all, weather you consider yourself Christian, Pentecostal, or what ever religion then you will go to Heaven. as long as your saved hun that is all that matters. when God judges someone he judges you based on those questions, not weather you like men or women.

It is unfortunate that your own family woul judge you that way. Be the better person and respect thier opinion and just know that you chose the life style that suits you not your family.

Well..if there is a HELL..it will be them going there not you. You are who you are. If they're gonna be nasty then they better book themselves a nice suite pronto! You did the right thing telling them the truth. If they don't like it...fukkem! :-)

the religious ones have no clue. contact PFLAG and they might be able to help you with educating these prejudiced folks. it's sad when your own family holds such attitudes. i know, because i've been there.
