Is this beautiful actress the replacement for past legends? She seems to have her act together yet there's a touch of vulnerability , I like her, she seems "natural".

No, I don't think so, because back in the 50's Marilyn Monroe was a sexy, and provocative figure, not like anything people had seen before in that time, especially since she was open about it, that is what got her the jobs in the first place.

She caught EVERYBODY'S attention, whereas Scarlett Johansson doesn't really, I've never been interested in her, and everyone else I know isn't. Being sexy is part of everyday celebrity life, since it appears in every tabloid, and magazine.

Although, I do agree with you about her being natural looking, more so than other celebs, she isn't stick thin, and I like that about her. She has a natural figure, and that Valentino dress she wore to an awards ceremony really complimented her assets, if you know what I mean.

Until Scarlett has;

(i) had an affair with Stephen Hawking;

(ii) been married to Adam Rapp;

(iii) shagged George W Bush and Alberto Gonzales;

(iv) been recorded singing at the White House, after inhaling helium; and

(v) been bumped off at the seaside by, er, Harry Conick Jnr;

she will not be considered for the post of Replacement Marilyn.

There will never be another Marilyn Monroe. While Johansen is very classy, and seems like she's from that era, you can't replace people like Marilyn. I do love Scarlett Johansen though, she's a beautiful girl.

Uh, no. You need to be an icon and have had an affair with a president before you get there. Wearing dresses and having blonde curly hair does NOT mean you're Marilyn.

I don't really know, but I've actually wondered that too. I love Scarlett Johansen. She's gorgous and a sweet heart.
