Spanish (because of the huge benefits of speaking Spanish in the US at present day) or Latin (because of the huge benefits of knowing the language in regards of Science and scientific names).

I speak English, Spanish and French. If I could I'd be instantly fluent in German because it's my husband's heritage language and I could teach it to my children along with English & Spanish.

i'm a Czech and that i communicate Czech and each and each American and British english ( they're very particular ) so if I had a third language Italian as that's what i'm getting to understand now. howdy James how is the throat? Getting any larger I desire.

spanish. it is a latin based language and so are a lot of others. words are similar to italian and portugese. from what i have learned if you know spanish you can have a basic understanding of several languages. maybe not be able to have a conversation but be able to get by in a lot of southern european countries.

I think I would choose to learn Latin. It would help in lots of situations, ie. medical school. If you know Latin, then you know what the words mean instead of having to memorize them. Plus, it is the root of many languages, and would make learning them even easier.

Spanish, it would be awesome to be able to travel through out the Latin American countries without any hitches. And it would be a great way to meet my future Latin Mistress.

German, without a doubt. The way to say, "Hey, Hans, let's say we climb into our tanks and go invade Poland in the morning?" in German is:

"Hans, Polen, Ja?"

i pick chinese because it is the fastest growing country in the world and almost all and every business is related to that country...you can be very versitile
