I don't support it. I think that it is wrong, and it should be illegal. Even if it was illegal, people would do it anyway, with hangers and things of that sort. Even if a woman is raped she shouldn't have an abortion. There is this thing called adoption. People are so stupid and selfish. They think that they can have an abortion them when it is convenient for them they can go get pregnant again. Well, that is not always true. When you have an abortion it messes with the reproductive organs and can cause you not to be able to have a kid.
Just think...one of the babies that has been aborted could have found a cure for AIDS or cancer or world hunger

The better question is when does a group of chemicals become human and so deserves protection? Some legal cases are loss of fertility. There is no physical event, just talk. Still there is a loss of future children and with negligence, a real legal issue.
There is a lack of using the words : ovum, zygote, fetus, embryo, infant. the religious side calls them all babies. One suggestion is when the baby is wanted. Has a name, a family...
The economics research suggests with Roe VS Wade, the option of abortion stopped an overwhelming increase in violence and enforcement. Some problem people weren't born. The lessening of tension stopped an epidemic of crime. The antiabortion people would execute some people after they are adults, but not as zygotes.
Foster care, State hospitals are full of unwanted people. The question is not good/bad. But what is better? Can we improve lives?

For/Against Abortions
The only way I believe a women should get an abortion, is if she has been raped, financially/mentally incompetent to raise a child, or it was an honest to GOD protection mishap (meaning, condom broke)

For those who use abortions as birth control, that isn't right. Too many people are having unprotected sex because they know if they get pregnant they can terminate the pregnancy by getting an abortions and use this method as birth-control, that's not right.

I think that the law should limit women to1 abortions in life, because to many women are having abortions that could have been permitted.

I don't like the idea of it but I don't think it should be banned. It should only be allowed though when the baby is unhealthy and will not be able to live and could force the mother to die if the pregnancy continues. I'm not sure what to think in the case of an underage girl perhaps having an abortion if she cannot go through a pregnancy, but the girl should try the most she can to survive the time.

Women aren't sitting around chatting and saying "You know what I'm in the mood for-?" No woman who has been faced with this didn't give it a lot of thought. Perhaps even agonized over it.
It's not fair to apply your attitudes on this subject to them. You don't know their situation or circumstances. For those against it, what about rape? Incest? What if the woman's life is in jeopardy?
I believe abortion should be safe, legal and rare. And the best way to keep the number down, is to do something many, if not most people against abortion are also against - sex education.
But what do they care, it's not their bodies. They just want to tell women what they can do with them.

BOY DID YOU JUST OPEN UP A CAN OF WORMS WITH THIS QUESTION!!!first off those that are staunchly against abortion are rairly consistent. if you truly believe that murder of any kind is wrong then you should be against the death penalty and wars. most of the conservatives i know are very much in favor or capital punishment(state supported murder) and wars(national supported murder) this leads me to believe that the die hard abortion foes are wishy washy in their convictions and really only disagree with abortion because they have been brainwashed by religious zealots that use this divisive topic to further their own political agendas. personally i don't care for abortion and i wish everyone that was old enough to have sex would prevent unwanted babies from being conceived to start with. but that would be a Utopian world that will never exist with humans so in the event of a woman getting pregnant and not wanting the baby she should have the right to end that pregnancy if she so desired!! if the churches and religious leaders really cared all that much for the children they would be more of an advocate for those children and build orphanages to take care of those unwanted children. this would take huge sums of money that most in our greedy society are not willing to donate. if the goverment eventually makes abortion totally illegal then we should all be willing to pay higher taxes to care for those unwanted children that we forced someone to have. if not then we should all shut the hell up and let women decide what they want to do with their bodies and lifes!!!!! just my 2 cents worth people!!

Yes I believe strongly in abortion, abort unwanted kids before they provide a strain on national resources or turn into a crackhead that ends up robbing me or you. Also if people are so against abortion, why don't you go adopt an unwanted child or give to an orphanage, do something that actually supports your belief instead of just acting like you care to look good in church

No I don't believe in abortion. Why should you punish the baby if its not there fault. I mean it does take two to make a baby. And if had ever got raped I still wouldn't have an abortion.

I believe in abortion for the right reasons, not as a birth control method. For instance, if a woman was raped and she wanted an abortion, that would be OK. If the fetus was found to have major problems, that would be OK.
