I've given blood for a few years now, I think its an awesome thing to do. However this year I'm pregnant, but I was still wondering if it was possible to do that still.

Why are pregnant women unable to donate?

Although no problems have been reported, the safety of donating blood during or shortly after pregnancy has not been fully established. There may be medical risks to mother and baby if a blood donation is made while pregnant or shortly after pregnancy.

*Applause* for you.

I am a needle coward and only give blood when I have to for a physical.

No expertise here, but I think you should keep your blood until after the delivery, then ask your doctor.
