There's no such thing as a perfect marriage. Even the best marriages are stressed to the point of pain at times, and since people change as they grow, it is always possible two people will grow apart.
So...if you are really wanting a guarantee and you have to choose one path or the other, I'd pick fame.
You can always have a "great for as long as it lasts" marriage AND your fame.
Or just buy a bunch of really good tail...
