My favorite was back in 2003. My friends and myself rented a motor home and had the infield. Fantastic time! We spent nearly a week infield. I am a Dale Jarrett fan and my first time in the infield he won. We were on top of the motor home and when it looked like he may win I walked out to the fence between turn 3 & 4 to see the last 40 laps. Well I was sporting my #88 hat and shirt got razzed alot. But I will tell you when he won, I think everyone that was in the infiled must have come to shake my hand. Cool people. I had 'haters' offering me victory cocktails. That day was the finest.
That was back when Dale Sr. had just died and everyone held up the 3 fingers and silent moment, all 180,000 people were silent...incredible. We sat in the Pit Terrace for the start of that race. I had my picture taken in the Winners circle (before the race of course). I had my pitcure taken with Jr's pit crew, that was cool! I was lucky enough to be infield to wake up to the smells of fresh coffee brewing, bacon cooking and the roar of the cars practicing. Wonderful memories! Now MIS is something I do each and every year. There is nothing better than the fans, the drivers and the expierence to be there in person to see them blow by. I love NASCAR!!

The only one I had was in 1998 or 1999 when the Pepsi 400 was put off because of the fires over near daytona. We had one tickets to the race through our work at the time(Discount Auto Parts)and we had the nice clubhouse seats but there were other employees up there so we went next to the track and it was awesome to feel the cars going by....it shakes your whole body. It was cool because the track is so steep...we got to go in the pits and meet Terry Labonte(He was driving the Kellogs car.) It was cool to meet him and get his autograph.Oh yeah and Jeff won the race that year too.

i will never go to one again! All they do is make left turns! Boring! Boring! Boring!
F-1 racing is by far superior and the drivers are amazingly skillful in their craft. Once you experience F-1 racing, you'll just look at Nascar as childish cart racing...

Although I've been to the Vegas race every year since it first started, I would have to say that I enjoyed the Dover June race a lot more.

I haven't had a lot of them but we did get to meet Michael Waltrip at his merchandise hauler and he autographed our purchase.
He is a really nice guy, the underdog I like to root for. That will change next year when he steps into his Toyota ride.

my first race( to visit a race track) was at Michigan,,,we had track "pit" passe's,hospitality tent(food, beer, pop all race long) got to meet in person Johnny Benson, raced for Jack Roush, signed autographs, talked with us,answered questions,,then in the next tent was Kenny Irwin(very nice person, too bad he had to die at such a young age),,and then on the other side was Rusty Wallace's tent,,got to meet him,,,to go to a race for the first time, and then have it be Michigan,un believeable the site,,the people(160,000 people!!) and the sound, hearing those cars coming down the back stretch,,sounds like a freight train coming at you!! and then they are gone>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>just so much to see!I'll never forget that day.

I love going to Darlington to the original superspeedway. I love the night race and it being Mother's day weekend. It is always my gift to myself, a trip to Myrtle and then the race. There is just something magical about Darlington.......
