i think so. many many people have read and studied it but for as many who have read it just as many and more haven't, so it wouldn't have had an effect on their lives.
i believe life experience and childhood relationships with friends, parents and other family members shape the way we love.
i presume your speaking of how we love today in a modern society.

of course. what a stupid question. the emotion of love existed a long time before Shakespeare wrote Romeo and Juliet. Have you never heard of the Ancient Greeks?
