If the question is do I believe in the devil. Then the answer is no!!
I believe that man invented this to escape from the bad choices that man/woman have and will make instead of taking responsibility for their own actions.
I believe that everyone has choices and it is up to all of us to make the right choice that does not harm or inflect any wrong to others and the world around us.

The devil is no longer a he, but in the new millenium the devil wears a red dress. More specifically my X-wife, and she's as real as the day is long

I believe that there are two opposite, but equal forces in this world. The power of good, and the power of evil. Many give them names and faces, to give them a tangible connection. Evil is often equated as the "Devil", while good is given the name of "God". Whether or not these two "beings" actually exist is something that theologists and scientists the world over have been studying for centuries. One day, maybe we will know.

Do I believe that there is an actual big red being with red horns and a pitchfork, with a pointy tail? No. But I do believe that there is the concept of evil and good, and the devil is a symbolic representation of evil and angels are representative of good.

I don't think we need a devil when there are people in this world that would make him look like a girl scout. So no. Reality is much worse than any red horned mythical creature that people invent to scare children into being good.

Such a being is unnecessary, all evil can be traced to people choosing to put their own wishes above the needs of others. The devil made me do it is no more than the cry of someone too cowardly to accept responsibility for their actions.

You must believe he's real or you would not have asked the question. There is a God and there is a devil.
