Not my hometown, but I am 1 hour away from Newport R.I...You have all the mansions you can tour, some include lunch, behind them is the public cliff walk along the ocean..The shops are quaint, there is the 10 mile drive along ocean, and in the spring at the park there, on the hill are many chillin on blankets with food and kites. There are hotels and restaurants, of course, just google newport mansions etc.
Of course, my favorite is Disney, Orlando.

I would say Corpus Christi, Texas, but its hurricane season and it would not be fun to come here and one hits. How about Wildwood New Jersey. I'm from NJ and the beach is nice and the clubs too.(now I live in Texas)
