Bhudda is actually more an Asian guy. The word means 'awakened' or 'enlightened' one, so actually good for all of us. Maybe their concept of 'God' is different but there is so much that can enrich our Western religions and spirituality, so I hope you keep on looking for more info on Bhudda now that you know the right spelling. Good luck.

I'm themama's son.
In my Global history class we had to study the main Indian religions. Buddhism is a branch off of Hinduism, with some added rules. Like a combination of Hinduism, Islam, and Muslim religions. Buddhism was founded by Buddha(this is the correct spelling) who was indeed an Indian. After his many years of wandering while searching for a state(condition) of enlightenment, he found it, and left instructions for others on how to achieve this state. This set of instructions is the rules of Buddhism( I think that they were called Laws). I don't know if there are any Egyptian Boodahs, but the one I've mentioned is definitely

I am a buddhist. The Indian prince Siddhartha Gautama, which means "he who has attained his goals," came to be the BUDDHA, which means "he who is awake."
Buddhism believes that we must suffer in life if we are to attain enlightenment. Buddha left his courtly life and suffered hunger, cold, pain and temptation by demons for many years before he reached enlightenment.
Buddha taught us that we will always suffer and feel the pain of life as long as we WANT (money, things, people), When you learn not to want all this temporary stuff, then you will stop suffering envy, greed, heartbreak etc. You give (charity) because you want to give, not because you expect something in return. Buddha would never say that he was a great man--that would be anti-buddhist.
Buddhism is the ONLY religion that never caused a war. It never judges / accuses / blames any other religion as being wrong. Buddhism is the religion of peace and tolerance.
