I have an extremely sore throat and people ask if my glands are swollen. Where am I supposed to feel and what should I feel for?

You have glands all over your body but the ones you want to check are under your jawbones. If you are very tender and sore as well as feeling some golf ball sized lumps (that's normal, the lumps not the size!!). You might also want to see a doctor just in case!

usually doctors check for swollen glands for infection in the body under both sides of th jaw line,right on top side of the throat.
