Gained a lotta weight fast and now gradually losing it but am getting things like yeast infections and blisters from the lose skin. This is hindering improving my health and is lowering my self-esteem some. What can be done that would tighten the skin as I lose the weight so I don't run into this again.

You can try toning exercises, but that's more geared toward the muscle. However as the muscle under the skin gets a little larger, it'll take up some of the space vacated by the fat (not all of it though). Bottom line is, if you've got so much skin it's giving you the problems you describe, surgery is likely the only way to get rid of it. After being real heavy, or heavy for many years, skin loses a lot of its elasticity, and it just won't 'shrink' back to the state it was before the pounds were there. I can relate somewhat, as I have some 'loose skin' issues myself from having dropped about 90 lbs.

If it's alot of loose skin you should have is surgically removed...like a body lift. If it's not that bad you should do toning exercises to make your muscles harder and not flabby.

Consult your doctor... but if me I would slowly start an exercise regiment to tighten that loose skin... Remember what's inside is what counts the most... Do your best to fix it but dont fret over it. Best of all luck!
