I think as we die we leave our body which i call a vehicle of expression and go back to our spirit form and then go through our akashic records then maybe reborn again if we have not learned enough while we were on this plane.

Mankind has existed on this Earth for an extremely long period of time. We are like seeds, sometimes our species are almost wiped out by natural or cosmic disaster but because of our resilience some will always survive to rebuild new communities. A continuing cycle of 'rise and fall' that will persist, as far as we know, indefinitely. It is possible that our current cycle is coming to an end and, if that is so, there is nothing that anyone can do about it.
After death? Remember our physics lessons at school, matter and energy in the Universe cannot be destroyed. Our bodies, we know, will disintegrate and go back to our 'Mother Earth'. It's what happens to our energy(our soul if you like), that matters. If energy cannot be destroyed, then the energy that animated your body and consciousness must remain, but in what form? Who knows.
Don't worry, death is all apart of our 'life cycle'.

Hi there. You are sure to get alot of answers on this one. This is my take on the situation: Earth only has so many resources and we are using these resources to dangerously low levels. We have ruined water, land and look at the Ozone layer problem. The Ozone layer is not going to heal itself. Ozone layer complete disappearance will burn us to a crisp unless we stay inside and how would be do that? The UVB and UV rays would be a horrnedous plague to society (maybe protective gear can be devised; I'd be the first in line as I am white as a sheet with auburn hair). We could guarantee dying faster if we ever wipe out the Ozone layer. And look at the waters. Many waters have been filled with the refuse from the early technological age and are still poluted from before the law was introduced to prevent it. For example, Lake Ontario is filled with muck from the Kodak plant. There are only certain times that you can fish and eat the fish. The rest of the time, the fish is inedible due to ink poisoning. And the lands are getting worse. We keep drilling for oil thus messing up the natural environment of the animal kingdom. It has gotten very bad for kitfoxes and condors. Therefore, the laws are stringent. I should know. I used to work for an oil company. After I packaged out, I called the EPA with a few, fast, fun facts about what REALLY happens in the oilfields. We continue to have to import oil into the USA because the formerly one family auto has been replaced by all people having an auto that they can drive. For example, my ex-husband has my two biological daughters. We got divorced when they were very small and I had them for 12 years. I live in Las Vegas, Nevada USA and it is not good for the kids here. We have many temptations here. Now, there are a total of seven people in the house. One is too small to even consider a car. My ex-husband has a vehicle (his entire career is oil), his wife has a vehicle, my two daughters have a vehicle and the ex has a fun vehicle. This is a total of 5 gas guzzling autos. So, when will we run out of oil. Never? Eventually yes. Right now there are hybrids on the road. BMV has come up with an auto that is powered via solar energy although it is not yet on the market. Okay, and now all of the people. We have health care advances that keep us alive longer and can cure us if we are younger and ill. Therefore, this planet is in danger of running out of land. Where will we grow fruits, vegetables, nuts, etc.?Builders are building more homes but what are we going to eat when all usable farmland is gone? Will our diet be some kind of one a day food sustenance pill? If anything, the planet is groaning from the population. It has gotten so bad that living in the sea has been an idea to look at. We are running out of room. I am a Christian but I won't shove it down your throat. It's been done to me before and this person didn't know I am an Ordained Reverend. When I die, my spirit will go to be with God in a special place called Heaven. The place is prepared and currently populated with souls who can't get sick, who don't have to worry about money, etc.You can write me if you want more information, ok? When I die, my spirit will leave my "shell" in the hospital or wherever death comes. Then, I will be in Heaven. I firmly believe this and I can back it up all the way to creation. So, if you want send me a line.

There has to be some physical end to mankind at some stage or even an end to mankind as we know it. As for the afterlife that is a hardier one. There could be a god, a heaven, a hell or we could be just one big energy flux and be ever remembered within a common energy field and in some way still affecting things in some small way. It's a good question to ask in good company and maybe with a few drinks. Just keep yourself grounded in your lifetime search for an answer.

If you mean the whole of mankind, then yes, probably. I really doubt that the human race will live on forever. It will eventually die out at some indefinitely point in the future, in my opinion. This might be a thousand or a million years away, but some time.

No one really knows what happens after death. Different religions have different theories on what happens. I'm sure you've heard of most of the theories.

That is one question that has many different answers. Some believe that when you die, that is the end. Others believe in reincarnation as either another person or as an animal, etc. Others have the religious stance of life after death in heaven or hell. And still others feel that your spirit lives on wandering the earth and watching over others. It is all a matter of how you interpret things.

Two ways to look at this.
#1. We die and not ever know we existed.
#2. I believe we go back to be with God who created us. We do this through the Sacrifice of Christ Jesus.
I only know these two possibilities. I think #2 sounds good to me. IF, it #1 I will not know anyway.
From my understanding, God did make us to live forever, but, we not listen to that and suffer the consequences. True, others have their beliefs as to eternal life, I have mine. Those that not have a belief, guess they just die and rot in the ground. I not going to look forward to that. I not push Religion, Jesus or anything else. You ask, and, I give the answer. You have to decide who tell the truth from what you want to hear.
Mahatma Gandhi said; "God is, even though the whole world deny him. Truth stands, even if there be no public support. It is self-sustained."

We were all meant to live in perfect health forever, originally. That's why no one WANTS to die. People go on long journeys to find the "fountain of life" and things like that. In the beginning, the first man Adam sinned against God. That carried the punishment of death. He passed that sinful nature on to all his children. That's why we die, because we all sin. Nothing happens after death. The body dies, with all of it's thoughts, emotions, schemes, etc. There is nothing that lives on apart from the body. When you die, you just simply cease to exist.

The Answers to your question are simply found in the scriptures. There is a creator God. The whole earth with its abundant life is proof enough of that. The New Testament is Gods finished work. His Son Jesus Christ Will be returning soon to this earth and all people will come to understand the real meaning and their purpose of life on this earth.

Your molecules return to the random nothingness from whence you came. In a thousand years, no one will even know that you were around. You're important to your kids and maybe grandchildren, and even they will be lost to oblivion.

You may have your a name on a tombstone or family tree, but even that will eventually turn to dust. Pretty depressing, but maybe you'll decide to make the most of the time while you're here on earth...

The only meaning to life seems to be "reduce pain and increase pleasure"; anything beyond that will be lost to oblivion...SO START LIVING IT UP!!!!

The bible seems to have a pretty clear message than mankind is on its way out, though trying to figure out the timescale is something I haven't been able to do. I don't think we have all that long. It is also very clear that if you repent of your sins and accept Jesus into your heart, truly, you have a place with your name on it in Heaven, guaranteed.
