You're going to have to be patient. While she may have forgiven you formally, the actual process of forgiving you whole-heartedly is going to take time, just like any wound would.

Meanwhile, the best thing you can do is reassure her of your love for her and how valuable she is to you. It would be most appropriate for you to pour it on thick (as long as you are sincere, of course). She needs to be comforted now more than before.

You will have to do this for a long while.

You might also consider calling her often, letting her know where you are and where you are going. Better yet, take her with you most the time.

Get the idea?

If you are not serious about your commitment to this person, then the best thing you can do for her is to end the relationship. The sooner you do it, the sooner she will be able to move on. If you aren't really serious about her, then the worst possible thing you could do is to waste her time. And since you were already unfaithful, sounds like you don't know how serious you want to be.

If you've had a change of heart, and want to prove that you're committed then there isn't really any one 'deed' you can do to make up for cheating. Showing her affection and genuine appreciation every day, plus not cheating, plus ceasing contact with female friends who make your girlfriend uncomfortable, should go a long way towards improving your relationship.

Promise to never do it again and keep the promise ... that's what you can do. If she has forgiven you she loves you and she is in there for the distance. Don't disrespect her. Your cheating is based on a ego good time with someone who really doesn't care about you.

If you can't keep your promise let her go so that she can be happy with a person who can.

How you make that promise is up to you. Dinner at a nice restuarant is always lovely.

First off, she hasn't forgiven you. She will never forget. Time is the only healer! You shouldn't have done it and really there is NOTHING that can make up for it. Next time just break up with the person. That is hard enough!

There is nothing you can do. She may have forgiven you, but she will probably never be able to trust you again.

You are LUCKY if she forgives you. There is nothing you can do but try to prove to her that you are trustworthy.....Which means you cannot be secretive, sneaky and you have to answer ALL of her questions. Even then she might still get the boot. But in my opinion, you deserve it you jerk.
