Such a creature lived in a zoo in India and was called a hobra, but elsewhere they have been called a zorse.
I believe the difference in names is determined by the parentage, that is, which parent is a horse, and which is a zebra. Like a tigon has a tiger father and a lion mother and liger has a lion father and a tiger mother. I'm not sure... but I think a zorse comes from a zebra father and a horse mother, and a hobra is from a zebra mother and a horse father. OR it could be that they call them hobras in India and zorses in the US.

Maybe it should be called a horbra. Somehow that doesn't sound entirely right.
In more serious answer, yes, there have been successful crosses between zebras and horses, and they are indeed called zorses.
These hybrids are sterile, just like a mule. They generally look much like a horse, but have definite striping - usually most prominent on the legs - that is usually brown and black (instead of white and black in the zebra).
