I have used ortho spray for roses and flowers, suppose kill on contact, but does nothing. Help!

Fungicide 3 by Garden Safe is one of the better commercial
insecticides for roses.Fantastic! Ortho products never seem
to do what they' re supposed to.

Depends on the insect pest. Depends on what you tried to use. Ortho makes a lot of spray "pesticides" for roses and flowers. You may have tried to kill bugs with a fungicide.
Some insecticides kill one pest, and won't affect others.
Other than that, Read the Label and Follow the Directions

Got this one from Jerry Baker: Soak chewing tobacco in a jar of water for 3 to 4 days or until the water turns the color of tea. spray this water in your roses and the bugs on them. The nicotine in the tobacco is a contact poison and should do in the bugs as well. You could also use liquid dish soap and water in a spray to make your roses unappetizing to the bugs. Good luck.

If the bug problem isn't an infestation what I do is spray them with a little soapy water. And sometimes just spraying them off with the hose helps.

... Lady bugs and patience are the best insecticide... the bad insects won't die instantly all at once... but they'll soon be gone...
... you can also spray with plain dish detergent/water...

We use liquid dish washing soap and water mix. Not much liquid soap. and spray it on.
