People is jelous of Italy because they think that they against Australia, and that their games werent won by soccer but only arbitral favoritisms.

Also because they have the easiest contender for the Quater finals, Ucraine who is new at this World Cup.

I personally consider Italy a good team, and I like the style they have to play. But I dont think they would win the Cup, I think that they have hard rivals, that would fight to get that cup, I still see Italy in the top 4.

Good luck anyways!

This Colin is a real nerd! Who are you to bash Italy! Look...The

way the italians play can only be understood througth

experienced eyes.

This type of play that they display can be summed up in one

word:

Cynical--What does this mean?..Well Colins of the world it

means that team italia will fear NO ONE even "scary" BRAZIL. All

other teams will trembel in Brazil's presense but italian players know

that : IF YOU START PLAYING FOOLISH WITH THE BALL( ala

Brazilian flair), I WILL SHUT YOU DOWN AND I WILL BEAT

YOU BECAUSE AFTERALL, I WEAR THE BLUE SHIRT AND

NOT YOU!!

keep watching you clowns because italy has the ability to win the

world cup in Germany this year.

You just live with it, you turkeys because team italia will win big.

I am not jealous of Italy. I love Italians, their food, culture, language (Ciao belissimo...) But I will say this: the Squadra Azzuri are a team affected by luck, mostly to their detriment. 1994. Lost to Brazil during a penalty shootout. 1998. Lost to France during penalty shootout. 2002. Blantant ref mistake + Hwan header scuppered 'em. And only this time round did they get lucky with that Aussie penalty. What I will say is this: they always got a good team but will win or lose their final match according to luck. We shall see what happens... Buono Viaggio, Squadra Azzuri!!

Why on Earth would anyone be JEALOUS of you? Sorry bud, but I'm jealous of teams that can actually PLAY football, instead of falling over on the pitch and scoring from 12 yards away with no defense on a dead ball. For instance, lets take Argentina, particularly Lionel Messi. Now, against Mexico, he got hit inside the box and could have gone down, but Messi actually PLAYS football, and kept fighting. He didnt want to be remembered as someone who fell over inside the box, but as someone who, after physically battling through the defense, managed somehow to get to the ball and, with defenders swarming around him, score the winning goal from, here's the tricky part, MORE than 12 yards away, and, with the ball STILL MOVING. Clearly, that concept of playing with heart and soul is too complicated for you Italians to grasp. Which is a shame, really, and I will cry for your lack of heart behind closed doors. In the meantime, however, I will be jealous of Messi, of Torres, of Pele, of people that play with PASSION, of people and teams that play because they love to PLAY, not because they love to WIN. Quite frankly, I am much more jealous of Trinidad & Tobago than of your F***ING Italia and the F***ING Azzuri! I mean, I am from a BAD country, football-wise (the United States, who I might add tied you while playing a man down for a whole half, are you proud of that?), who just played a Sh*ty, Sh*ty, tournament, I mean, they played really, really poorly, but at least WE didnt advance by PURPOSEFULLY running into someone inside the box just so we could fall over and moan to get a penalty kick. So, in conclusion: I wouldnt root for your snobby *ss country if someone paid me too. I hope Ukraine beats you three to zero. Oh, and by the way, even if you do advance to the semifinals its nothing to brag about because you had the easiest path there of any of the 16 teams to reach the knockout round.

They are jealous because they feel inferior! Just like the guy who answered before me, GET A LIFE! The italian team has it all and I really do believe in them! Forza Azzurri a tutti!

Not jealous, just very sad that they knocked out Australia by tripping deliberately in the box...

I think they could play much more exciting football - yes their defence is excellent and they have one of the best two keepers in the world, but you have to actually attempt to score goals to win games.... <_<

Ya all the americans are jealous because they are **** and have no hope in life. You can bad mouth the italians as much as you want but it won't stop the fact that the US is $hit and will never qualify out of their group AGAIN.

we're all rooting for our respective teams here and if some of us happen to "dislike" the others, i don't think it's because of "jealousy"...i know italians think their team is invincible but so does the french with their les bleus so where's the jealousy there? i won't get into the fray and waste my time. i'd just like to say good luck to italy...they'll gonna need it. lots and lots of it.
