Truthfully, I think they both are AWSOME!!!!! H.I.M. has good love metal and Avenged Sevenfold has good emo.

Avenged Sevenfold is the better band but they arent "Emo" they are Metal.

Well after seeing A7X in concert and seeing how bad the singer was in person (coming from someone who absolutely loved their first album especially...) and how lame and overused the guitar solos were. As a guitarist I found it so cheesy to rip every Slash guitar line and somehow think you're still amazing....no, Slash was good...A7X was like Guns N' Roses but like an immature 8th grade cover band of G N R. And HIM? Please let metal be metal and let better Finnish goth-death metal show you what good metal truly is...

I think both are AWESUM!! I love Avenged Sevenfold's old and new music and H.I.M's love metal. BOTH ROCK!!!!!

i like Avenged Sevenfold much better than HIM. i listened to HIM constantly on repeat about 2 summers ago and now i'm tired of them.
