I am so sick of jackasses!?

Question

I work at a bank as a teller. Can someone please tell me why customers are in such bad moods all the time. I would never act the way they to towards someone. Some people are such jerks.

You really are supposed to ask questions here. I hope you follow the rules set forth at your job better than you do here. If not, that might be the reason your customers are "out of sorts". That and the long wait to get to a teller.

Money is a stressful subject even if you do have enough in your account. It is a stress related thing that you think about alot. Then there are bank fees. I have been great friends with bank tellers. It cooled off a bit when I saw the fees. "You charged that much for service?"--Ha Ha.

My daughter used to work as a teller and she told me she had to quit because people are always angry that they don't have enough money when they are in the bank. So they take it out on the teller.

Sometimes, you just have to bite your tongue and be the better person. But usually, people with that sort of attitude usually get what's coming to them, especially if they treat waiters/waitresses like that (hint).

you are absolutely right and no i can't explain it. anyone that works with the public seems to have the same opinion. what is up with that. i'd say their parents didn't teach them how to behave properly.
