Going by the true definition, white appears because it reflects ALL color, thus it is by definition the most refective color for light. However, the appearance and brilliance of a reflection can be deceiving and cause other answers. bright shiny metal objects and mirrors can exactly reflect light, however that in and of itself is not a color.

white on a white car looks good , because you cant really see it . royal candian mounted police have it on there cars as well as i had it on an emergencie vehicle . looks cool.
