I think it's an "Iver Johnson" brand if it's old, or maybe a "Charter Arms"....both companies used the Bulldog moniker.

Adding those company names to the Yahoo search engine will get you some info I think.

It's not manufactured anymore. For some reason I want to say I think the proper model was The Boston Bulldog. I also believe that there were several companies that manufactured it. Try googling under that name unless the answer pops up from someone else.
