If you know his address or even email address write him a letter and explain the situation of your getting a divorce, how much you have missed having him a part of your life, that you really want him in your life again and that you really want to talk about what happened..... then leave the ball in his court and tell him if he wants to talk about it - or even just leave it in the past and build a newer friendship how to contact you.... then wait and pray

Unfortunately, when you get married, you end up losing those valuable guy friends. The only way I have been able to keep mine are on the side when my spouse does not know. Just call him or send him an ecard, or try and make time to go see him to apologize. If he was a true good friend, he will know it was not you, but your he-man of a hubby acting like a caveman. :) Sounds like you have one like me.

The only way you are going to resolve this is by communicating with him, and asking his forgiveness.
You should start by sending him a card, tell him you miss him even after all this time. Then follow up the card with a phone call and tell him you are sorry about what happened, and that you were wrong (even if you weren't).

you really need to confront him. take him to quiet place and just talk things over or call him. do not take no for an answer. make him hear you out. he shouldn't still be holding a grudge after ten years and especially letting your friendship go to hell over something like this. good luck

send him a letter. Apologize, explain how you feel and try to work it out. All you can do is try.
A personal ad he will read might be cool too.

well for whatever reason he is holding a grudge it is his decision and you should respect that especialy considering what happened. leave the past in the past and leave him alone, if he ever wanted to forgive you he would have.

If you can get him to listen to you tell him how you feel. I don't understand why he's mad at you your not the one who hit him.Give it your best shot. You won't know until you do.
