i know that his costume is his skin but on superman returns the suit was taken off. What is it anyway?

If you watch the first movie made in the seventies you see that his costume was sent by his father with him, the farmers encountered either child or costume.

No. The reason it doesn't ripe or tear is because it was made out of the unbreakable material that his pod was made out of when he crashed on earth.
