Not sure of your question, especially 'how not to do something'. But what comes to mind is anything abstract or free form. Finger painting might be good, or oil painting with swirling colours, or doodling. Seems like you're saying how to live in the 'now' in your artistic skills. So it seems getting into your 'feelings' at the moment, hopefully more positive ones for what is good or okay now, and using more 'hopeful' or brighter colours. One time I did my 'mandela' or 'own unique energy pattern' feeling a little 'blue' but I surprised myself to find beautiful colours coming out between the black, and contrasting even more beautifully because of it. (Mandelas are behind the beautiful church stained glass windows for some hints, or look on the internet for ideas.) Good luck and love to rise above that anniversary.

It dosnt matter what you make, it depends on how you feel if you love them use bright colors if not darker colors make it vibrant and vivid make it stand out and let your hands do the work, they can express what you feel.
