Just cause she wears slutty lingerie doesn't make her a lesbian. And if she's inviting you and your boy over that wouldn't be it either. Now if she invites you over and hits on you or makes it seem more then that's a clue. And just because she doesn't have a boyfriend doesn't make her a lesbian! I don't have a boy and I'm definitely not one. Don't listen to other people. That's not cool to think that of your friend either.

Why don't you just ask her? For her to wear revealing lingerie seems odd, but maybe it's how she is comfortable, and she wears that type of stuff at home all the time. I've known girls that walk around nude at home, even when they have company, but it's just how they're comfortable, and there's nothing sexual about it. There's really no way to tell, maybe ask her why she doesn't have a boyfriend, and see what she says.

There are stereotypes for people, but the only way to tell is to ask her. If you are uncomfortable doing that, then just forget about it. It's not very fair for people to gossip about others' sexual orientation. If she is, then maybe she's just trying to fit in by talking about guys like that. If you aren't comfortable at her sleepover then don't go.

not really. there isn't much of a way for you to know at that point. as for the slutty lingere, that probably isn't to try to turn you on. many girls, including me sometimes, like to wear that because it makes you feel attractive, and everybody wants to be attractive. maybe you should just wait. maybe let her know that if there is anything she wants to talk about, she can. and if she is a lesbian, then if she trusts you, she will eventually tell you.
and for the people who said she is if she plays softball, or who said if she listened to certain music, that isn't right of you to asume. i play softball, and i'm straight. you guys make me sick, it isn't right of you to asume that ALL softball players are lesbians, or that EVERYONE who listenes to mellisa e. is gay. that is just wrong, and a very retarded thing to asume. its like that whole thing where everyone thinks that AIDs is a gay disease. its just not true.

That is so silly, if she is or isn't does it really matter? Maybe she likes to flirt, maybe she is confused. Why would you and your squeeze stay the night at her house? That is odd in itself! Maybe if you are close enough to just ask her? Just because someone isn't in a relationship does not make him or her gay, but if she is will it make a difference to you?

shes probably settling from guys cuz thier losers but ask her 1nce dont ask her alot of times cuz she mite think that your on to something so ask he r 1nce if she says no then back off but what u can do is see what she does lately like talkin bout girls in a wird way or if shes just talkin bout guys she probably tryin to cover up or maybe she just in to boys !

It seems to me that both you and her are too young to have a definitive sexual preference.
Teenage years are the years in which you discover your sexuality and sort out your preferences. Don't try to label her, yourself, or anybody... it's too early to do that.
From what you have told me, she seems to be a regular girl. Don't worry too much about gossips or labels, usually there are nothing more than just that.

Well, if you see her getting it with another girl, that's a good indication. Just let it be. If she is one, she'll tell you when she is ready. If she isn't, then you already know the answer that she isn't because she'd dated before. Be respectful of your friend.
