Sorry, no. I would think that that would make people want to beat me up and take my lunch money. It doesn't flow well, and it doesn't make much sense. maybe:
". . . different drummer . . . But I make up my own beat."or ". . .I got my own beat'
or
". . . different drummer . . . Darn non-percussionists." or "How little lead guitarists know."
