I am computer iliterate and have asked computer problems before. One was that I could not download attachements to my email inbox. Among two answers I got it was suggested I should adjust my browser. How do I do this and what do I adjust it to?

I use Yahoo and click on 'mail' and then click on 'Inbox'. Then I sometimes get a message to see 'Attachement'. When I go to the bottom of the page and click on 'attachement' nothing happens.
I don't know what my browser is.

Most email programs give you the option to preview your email without downloading which is safer. You can get a virus by downloading attachments. In fact, you can get a virus just by clicking on an attachment. If you do take the chance and download, there is an option in the email program that lets you download it by clicking on the icon in the email. Depends on your email provider how to do this.

Be specific with what email program you are using. Normally, you don't download attachments to your Inbox, they go onto your harddrive.
