do you want it taken out or simply reset? do not remove the bulb. and replacing the timing belt will not reset the lamp either. it has to be manually reset. it serves as a maintenance reminder and comes on periodically when the computor calculates that factory maintenance is due. to reset the lamp, simply do this; with ignition switch OFF, press and HOLD select/reset button on instrument panel. CONTINUE holding the button while turning the ignition switch on. when the light RESETS (goes off), RELEASE the button . it takes about ten seconds. the lamp will reappear every 6000-7500 miles. if you go over 7500 miles without resetting the lamp, it will stay on continuously until being reset.

Why on earth would you want to remove that?
If it is shining in your eyes and annoying you, have your vehice inspected by a qualified professional to determine the CAUSE.
If you merely want to replace the lamp, which is NOT shining in your eyes and annoying you, have your local Honda dealer inspect it to determine the cause of the failure. These warning lights do not fail as easily as, say, headlights.

Typically, the only way to get that "idiot light" to go off is to change the timing belt. I could be wrong, but I haved owned many Accords in my lifetime and its always the case.
