Maybe a victorian lilac type of color? Also, a periwinke blue might go well with sage. I wouldn't go sage, but I would go with bolder colors like greens, deep chocolate or deep blue, a crimson red or maybe some white thrown in. Irish people are bold (of the ones I know), and it would seem that celebrating such a big Irish holiday and a wedding at the same time would warrant a bold experession.
But heck, I'm black, don't listen to me.

Find out what the national flower or plant is and include it in the bouqet.
Also look into some old books about the language of flowers.
Red is a complimentary color-
White is a cleaner look.
If you know exactly what kind of green you want then get a sample and hold i up to some flowers you like and make sure they don't make you sick to look at them....
Congratulations!

Cream colors or muted golds would go great with sage green. Shamrocks are the national flower, try to have a few incorporated in the flowers. They are very delicate though.
Best Wishes!!

I did too. I used white flowers, but I used a lot of ivy for color. You can tie in some yellow if you like. It was really pretty and was so clean and elegant looking.

I would say off white or silver but a light silver. This sounds ugly but light purple goes good with sage. I have those colors in my bedspread and they look good together.

Any color you want just stay away from Red unless you want Christmas in March theme. Pastels would be nice and light yellows especially!

I think it would be cute to put a rainbow and a leprecon on the wedding cake. Or are you worried the leprechaun will steal your gold band?
