I think he has calmed down on the outside, but I think inside he still the same. He has just learned how to control his anger. He doesn't let the little things get to him like they used to.

Has Tony calmed down.. Uhmm NO! He's still got the firey passion that put him in all the hot water he was in before. The difference, he lets a little bit more slide off his shoulder and doesn't let as much get to him. He also bites his tongure quite a bit more. A lot of the drama that followed him early in his career was just that. Drama that got blown out of the water and over exaggerated.
See when people talk about Tony calming down it I don't think they realize that he still has intense passion and fire, and that's what got him in all that hot water.
Sure he might have a temper, but damn, I would too, esp in a lot of those instances.. Like I said he watches himself on how he reacts in the public a bit more, b/c it was hard aftermath over nothing that turned into WWE.

dear tony never took anger management classes... he went to some counselling recommended by NASCAR like maybe one course but not anger management and yes he has calmed down but only because he knew he was in trouble if he didnt. I dont miss those days because he just made everybody around him miserable. He had trouble adjusting to the NASCAR scene. He is a human too!

I don't think he has calmed down at all. It's only a matter of time before he turns someone into the wall or crashes someone out again and then blames the person he wrecked. No apologies. It will being interesting to see if he "can keep his cool" at Daytona. I can say I am hot and cold for Stewart, sometimes he is good but sometimes he is an idiot out there.

he has really calmed down alot which is good because now he is all about racing and less about starting fights with people over stupid ****. i think he realizes that its not worth it to create trouble but instead to put his heart into racing which is what he grew up doing.

Yes. NASCAR is turning all the personalities into clones just like the cars.
