When I was growing up in Lacey Washington, I lived very close to Jaze Knight(however you spell her name.) She is known for channeling a 200000 year old warrior spirit. This woman is so far out there that she even has the rights to this spirit copyrighted by the united stated. Every summer she would hold these huge conferences at her place out in Yelm. Tom Cruise was a regular member. Any person that would pay an insane woman gold, (she charges a bag of gold each time) to channel a 200000 year old warrior spirit to talk to you about some insane nonsense, that person must be out of his gord.

I think Tom Cruise is entitled to his opinion, whether I agree or not, and that in the last few years he has been more aggressive and more vocal in his viewpoints. Katie Holmes is not ignorant, she knows with whom she has had her child, and it is her choice to follow Scientology as opposed to her Catholic upbringing. But regardless of his views and his shenanigans with the media, he is an actor, and I go to his movies to see his character, not him as a real person. I also enjoy Mel Gibson as an actor and a director, and I don't hold against him his personal life or his religious standpoints. As long as the actors do what we the public, who want to be entertained, are paying them to do, to act a part, then their personal lives and choices don't matter. I liked MI:3 and I will continue to watch the movies they make as long as their ability to entertain me for two hours holds up. It's when actors become violent, abusive, addicted, or outright nuts in their personal life and throw away their talent that I decide my dollars are not going to them anymore.

I don't believe Katie Holmes is Innocent in all of this stuff. She was bought and paid for. He wanted a biological child and she was (in my opinion, artificially inseminated). They will probably never get married because I think he is probably gay. He is just trying to publicize his newest movie Mission Impossible III (which most of the Us females have boycotted). Katie is getting well compensated for her "pregnancy" after all, she is a pretty poor actress. She is going to get money if she does or doesn't get married. Who the heck ever heard of her, with the exception of a Dawson's Creek fan?

I'm wondering why anyone cares so much about what this man does in his private life. Why it's so important what he believes in and who he's laying the pipe to at night. All I know is his acting career has been for the most part pretty stellar. Call him a has been, a terrible actor and a lunatic, but that hasn't stopped him from being one of the highest paid if not the highest paid actor of all time.

I agree somewhat about what you said about Tom. But Katie....well she is a grown women who may or may not have had a child (we still haven't seen Sorry, oops, I mean Suri).. In any event... Let them live their lives the way they so choose. Once they're together nine 1/2 years, Tom will dump her before he has to give her HALF of his fortune!

I think that his beliefs are his own, and Katie is an adult...she has the option to go along with his beliefs or step out and follow her own beliefs.
I think that he has done some very good work in the entertainment industry, he is a good actor and knows what he is doing.

I think Tom Cruise is an egomaniac, but what actor isn't?? I think most of his actions are stupid but calculating. As long as he keeps his name in the news, even if it's for something stupid nobody forgets about him. He may be doing damage to his rep, but he's making damn sure he's not forgotten in hollywood.

Ah, to each his own. We must all find our way in life, and those two have found their chosen path. I say good luck to them both. I mean they are rich, so yeah, they have it pretty good and if they want the media out of their face, go fly off to a private island and sip a delicious tropical drink!
