Remember in Chamber of Secrets when Voldemort told Harry he could bring back his parents again. Magic we haven't seen yet or a bluff to see if Harry was gullable?

Probably to see if he was gullable. Dumbledore told Harry once people they are dead they can't come back(or something like it)

Maybe he's done it before, after all, the story doesn't really go into what Voldemort does just through Harry's visions.
Maybe Harry's parents were already brought back to life. The books also don't go into details of before the Dursleys.
I have a bit more ideas from the fan fics I read. And didn't they say nothing was imposible with magic?

Voldemort is suffering an advanced mental ill which makes him unbalanced.
He believes that there's no good or bad, there's only power. He worships power.

Anyway, he was manipulating Harry, because dead can never be alive again. He's a powerful wizard, but re-creation is beyond any force of any creature.

It's not he was just lying. He believes that if he wanted, he would have the power to return time.

He was affecting Harry's mind to convince him with the ultimate power that he has, but in fact, he was trying to convince himself, I can turn back the time. I can have another chance to avoid my mistakes and gain more power.

Philosophers' Stone can make somebody live more, but not bring the life again to those who died.

He was just messing with Harry's head. Dumbledore said that once they're dead, that's it! Look at JK's interviews and which characters she likes to use to put important messages across.

Maybe Voldie knows Willow...after all she brought Buffy back didn't she? Though I doubt Willow would work with Lord MoldieShorts...unless she went evil again.
