Relax yourself and keep repeating the words "I'm insane. I'm insane. I'm insane." Yep. Should make for a good nap session.

Oh Holy Spirit, grant us grace
To win the guided missile race
Give us peace, Lord, grant us calm
To drop another ton of napalm
Whatever you do, Lord,
Whatever you say,
Give me back my "combat pay!"

Apache healer's prayer to God:
“Hi! Hi! Ah Ew Son.
Ya na ky yo ha tō.”
[translation into English:]
“Hear me, Great Spirit.
Hear my feeble voice.”
“Ah Ew Son” is really all one word and should be run together a little bit. It means God.
This is appropriate at the beginning of a ceremony or thanksgiving. The spiritual cleansing of the house with sage is such a ceremony. Say the words in Chiracawa (Apache), thinking of the health of the HOUSE and the birds and squirrels and those who need healing – don’t ask for safety or health for yourself when doing this cleansing ceremony. With your prayerful, feeble voice, ask for peace and serenity for all who come on the property troubled.

O God, who created all peoples in your image, we thank you for the wonderful diversity of races and cultures in this world. Enrich our lives by ever-widening circles of fellowship, and show us your presence in those who differ most from us, until our knowledge of your love is made perfect in our love for all your children; through Jesus Christ our Lord. Amen.
[Thanksgiving for the Diversity of Races and Cultures, Book of Common Prayer, 1979, p. 840]

Your own power song
outside, enscribe a circle in the dirt that is 10 feet in diameter. Very slowly dance around the circle. There is a proper way to set your feet. Step forward so that the ball of your foot touches the ground, then the hell. Bring your other foot forward so that it's ball touches the ground, then the heel. continue to make these steps around the circle. Mumble and chug and grunt as you make these steps. Eventually a rhythmic beat will accompany you as you step around the circle, and you can say something aloud that keeps the beat going unchangingly.
What so say aloud is your meditation power song. Immediately turn on the tape recorder you've brought with you to record this.
Memorize it and use it later in your private meditations.
You can also use this to slam shift yourself into a dancing meditation when you need to make a decision and don't have time to do a long form meditation.

Well, you could use the one I use.
I learned this from a course that specializes in meditation.
We don't say it outloud, just in our head and repeat it over and over. Not making audible sound, makes it easier to remain in a meditative state.
Here's what we say:
I am in contol...I am always in control. Phisically and mentally. Mentally and phisicaly.
Every day, in every way I am getting better and better. Better than before.
Every day in every way I am getting stronger and healthier. Better than before. And this is so.
I cannot contract any diseases. My body does not know how. And this is so.
I am always in control.......
We just repeat that over and over.
You will be telling your subconcious that it can never learn how to develop ANY sickness, disease, blindness or deafness.
I also throw in that last one from time to time.
Also tell yourself, just before you open your eyes, that on the count of ten, your eyes will open. When they DO, you will feel better. Better than before. And this is so.
You can make up your own. They all work really well.
I'm just giving you an example. The one I use. Feel free to make one up of your own or use this one.

Think of something you like. Something that makes you happy. I say Hamburgers. It should start with a soft sound so you can exhale as you say it. Maybe a place you've visited where you had a really good time or the name of a girl you thought was really hot.

Closing your lips and mouth make a slow continuous sound as you breathe in deeply and then breathe out slowly. This sound is itself your own Mantra, This is what we call OHM sound.

Well there's always the good ol' standby of "ohm" :) but I just found a series of words that worked for me and what I was trying to acheive (peace, serenity, etc) and it worked for me.
