Tell her she is selfish for expecting you to have no life and to constantly watch your niece. Tell her you love your niece, you just don't want the responsibility of constantly caring for her. Good luck.

First of all, you need to tell your sister that the bond between you and family will never be broken by hanging out with other people. Second of all, you need to approach your sister when she is more tranquil and less stubborn about your side.
Third of all, you need to understand your sister's point of view (as hard as it may seem) so that you can have answers to what she might say.
Fourth, remind her that everyone needs a little "me" time, it might have been the reason your sister told you to babysit her daughter in the first place.
..start out with that and you'll be good to go!

TEll her what you ment. If she wont listen, just give it time, it will work itself out. Plus, eventually your neice will giver a giult trip about wanting to see you, so you will see your neice soon.

I'd say to give her time to calm down. You didn't say you wouldn't babysit at all, did you?
