With Gary Kubiak coming into the picture this year will be a turn around year for the Texans. He is an offensive ,especially running, genius and the Texans are blessed with a great running back and quaterback. Their offensive line still needs some work and the defense should be alot better with the addition of first round draft pick Mario Williams. Look for them to get 8 or 9 wins this season, including an upset of Indy in Houston. Next year they will be making a playoff push.

From what I can see they have the same team as last year except for this magical rookie DE Mario Williams who is supposed to make them a Super Bowl winner. It'll be a miracle if the Texans win 7 games.

Two years ago when they dismantled their linebacker corps, the one thing holding that team together opened the flood gates. And likewise, 7-9 became crap! The two best moves that team made was bring in better coaching and picking D with the first pick. However, until they patch up the LBs and OLs, third is the best they will do in the AFC South.

I'd give them 4, maybe 5 wins. Bad year to have to play all of the teams in the NFC East.

Their schedule: Phi, @Ind, Wash, Mia, bye, @Dal, Jax, @Ten, @NYG, @Jax, Buf, @NYJ, @Oak, Ten, @NE, Ind, Cle

On second thought, given that schedule (wow, that's brutal) they might win 3. That stretch in the middle (6 road games in 8 weeks) is nasty. They might not get a win until Week 11.

Unfortunately, by passing on Reggie Bush, it will be tears before they actually make a run, I would guess an 8-8 record will be a gift.

I dont expect much from them this year. New coaching staff always sets things back. I do like their talent though, but I cant see them getting past the Colts AND the Jaguars in their own division. They may pass the Titans this year though.

Going to be another long season for them. They would have improved incredibly if they had picked Reggie Bush but they did not. Good move Charley Cassidy

They will do much better this year because of coach
Kubiack, updated O-line and that new bad *** at
tailback. My guess for their record 8 & 8
