I definetly do. I'm a virgin. And yes, I may only be 14 but I know that I'm going to be a virgin until I'm married. And I'm proud of that. There are girls who are being destroyed by our culture and it's horible. And especially the vicious cycle that most children of teen parents become teen parents, leading to more impovrieshed underpriviliged children, more kids in the system that already can't handle who's there now and more kids going to juvenile detention, which is pretty much the best path to jail. Our culture is so much about instant gratification. No one thinks about the consequences of what they do anymore.

Remember one of most impressionable age, people who submit questions always do not have themselves in the situation depicted by their question. While there are exceptions to every rule I think that virginity can be ridiculed by anyone but have you ever known anyone to ridicule it and still be a virgin? Wonder why that is. Virginity is something you only have once and that gives it value. Do not worry what other ask, take their questions with a grain of salt, meaning not every question is valid and every question is not the person immediately in that set of circumstances. Do not let the questions deter you from your beliefs or waiver you from what you know to be pure and true. There is as much untruth in the questions or more than there is accuracy. I try to help all the questions that seem real or need an answer that will help them provided I feel giving advise based on experience, but even so I am selective in some as there are some that I do not answer because they are a waste of time there is no chance of what they are asking being for real. Keep that in mind and become so involved in the drama that is presented that it affects yur normal rational thinking. Please help when you can just do not take on the drama and be proud of what and who you are.

I reamained a virgin until I was 24. I got married to that man at 28. I'm now married to the first man I had sex with and we now have a little baby girl.
I am very proud of my decision not to have sex while I was a mere child myself. I honestly don't know what I would have done if I had a baby at that age and sex can bring a baby into this world at that age.
Even at 30 having a child is difficult. All the emotional and body changes that happen -along with the responsibility that comes along with a baby is a very difficult job. VERY REWARDING but difficult.
So basically it is very honorable to remain a virgin until the prospect of marriage comes along....if you can wait for the actual wedding night. It's a smart decision.

I totally agree with you. I don't think anyone at the age of 14 should even be thinking about having sex. Enjoy being young while you can, because once you are an adult, that is it. I think anyone that needs to come online and ask if they should have sex, obviously isn't mature enough to. I am going to sound old, but when I was 14, sex wasn't even closed to being on my mind. Stay young and stay a virgin. There are people out there, like me, who are proud of you!

i definetly think all those kids under , say 18, that are talking about having sex and being pregnant are SCREWED OVER
nothing good can happen from having sex that young...i'm 15 and i know that i'm gonna wait until i'm AT LEAST 18 so that hopefully there will be no reprocussions...
who has any common sense when they're 13? really?!

yes. many of the questions that i see are appalling to me. it might be a little old fationed, but in my opinion, you should not even date untell you are 16, and then only do double or group dates. do not steady date. dont let dating take over your life. when you hit about 21, start looking for a mate. dont have sex untell after marrage. thats my veiws on dating and sex.

Some of them are. It's best not to tell them that, just try to set them on the right track or they won't listen to you. The media is setting bad examples. Let's make a good name for Yahoo! Answers.
